Sara Tarpley, Director, Academic Outreach & Engagement has worked for Gale, Cengage Learning since 2002 and has held a variety of strategic roles in the organization. Her background includes work in the Human Resources, Customer Training, Marketing and Product Management departments of the organization. Currently Sara is a member of our Academic Sales Leadership team managing sales channel readiness and strategic customer initiatives focused on driving usage and awareness of Gale resources. Sara has a passion for helping university and community college libraries align Gale resources to campus initiatives and champions the use of Gale content to increase student success and to support affordable learning opportunities for all students. Sara has a Bachelors Degree from Michigan State University and a Masters in Training & Organizational Development from Oakland University.
