This session discusses how daily routines at several academic libraries have been impacted by implementing Alma. We will discuss, with information provided by other Alma libraries through interviews, how workflows are being identified and streamlined, improvements to interdepartmental collaboration, and barriers to adopting these changes.

Offering fixed costs and other advantages over demand-driven projects, evidence-based models of acquisition have surged in popularity among academic libraries. This presentation traces a large, popular, and expensive single-campus implementation of JSTOR Books DDA on its journey to a tripartite hybrid successor involving new EBA (local) and DDA (consortium) elements.
