Access to eresource collection analysis tools lead libraries to believe that they can quickly and easily analyze their collections - both print & electronic. This presentation looks at global assessment of book collections: how use is counted differently and whether print and electronic can be compared by employing ratios.

S059: Comprehensive Database Assessment with a Small Staff
This session will review the steps taken to create the assessment protocol used and will include initial results.  The goal of this process is not cancellation, but a strong rationale for why we have each resource.  This comprehensive assessment was created and performed by < 5 people.

S077-01: (mis)Adventures in building a data dashboard : trying to use Alma and Tableau to create a cancellations dashboard
BC Libraries plans to build a dashboard to inform decision-making by tying together data from diverse sources.  As an initial step in this direction, a cancellation dashboard is under construction.  It intends to identify electronic resource candidates for cancellation in order to fund the cost of new subscriptions as needed.
