Technologies have emerged so quickly since the onset of the internet that digital accessibility is often overlooked. As much of a library's online resources are provided via third parties, prioritizing accessibility can be very challenging. In what ways might librarians communicate their commitment to accessibility to vendors? This presentation is geared towards librarians ready to start promoting accessibility in their institutions and includes a basic introduction to concepts and standards in accessibility as well as a brief overview of landmark disability legislation.
