Shibboleth provides a number of benefits when authenticating resources through EZproxy. This presentation will focus on one library’s experience in implementing Shibboleth authentication including the challenges, solutions, and lessons learned.
The publishing community recognizes the current hurdles that librarians face on a daily basis with digital piracy (e.g. Sci-Hub). Therefore, as a group, we have assembled to develop tools and a communications workflow in order to make it easier to protect your electronic resources and the safety of the information of your students/staff. Before we officially role this out to the academic community, we would like to share with you and solicit your feedback.
