Almost everyone working in the library can benefit from exposure to data about how the library operates. But not everyone can create custom reports to understand trends and patterns. This session discusses the design and implementation of analytics dashboards, and the types of data required for decision-making in academic libraries.

In this session, the researchers (directors at a small private college) will discuss their experiences analyzing two years of EDS search data as compared to  full-text downloads by customers during the same period. Lessons learned and practical advice for conducting similar analysis at other institutions will be shared.
