Former Co-founder and president of ebrary®, Kevin Sayar led the company from its inception in 1999 to a position as a leading ebook provider to libraries worldwide. Mr. Sayar was instrumental in building the high-growth business through the development of innovative research technologies and flexible acquisition models, including demand driven acquisition and subscription. He has brokered strategic partnerships with companies such as YBP, which has integrated ProQuest’s Ebook Central platform within its digital and print book acquisition workflow. He also led the acquisitions of EBL and Coutts Information Services and the subsequent integration of these businesses to create an innovative and market-leading Books business unit within ProQuest.

Mr. Sayar previously worked for Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati (WSGR), considered the U.S. leader in high technology legal representation. He holds a J.D. from California Western School of Law and a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley.
